I'm doing the change on Johnny Tremain, because he was kind and responsible young boy, really confident and sure of himself. He was offered to work for many people, for example Mr. Revere, and rejected them because, even though he would really like to work for them, he had to help out his 'family' because nobody helped out at the house, and the silversmith shop. While working at the silversmith, he 'lost' his hand. Some months after that, he left the house, and met Rab, who treated him nicely, and gave him a job. he felt different and in a higher position than before. He started gaining some friends, and started to forget about his hand for a while. One day he went and visited Issana and Priscilla. he gave Cilla a hug, then gave one to Issana, she responded rudely to his hand, which made Johnny Feel bad. A couple of days later, he met some girls and danced with them, he noticed that the girls didn;t really noticed the hand, and made johnny feel more confident about himself.
Historical Components-
There were many historical components that had to do with the American Revolution, for example the Boston Tea Party, which in Johnny, Dove and Rab participated in. There was also the "Lexington War", were the Colonist, the militia, fought the British because of taxes, and laws government. Rab participated and died, and johny got his hand back, a couple of days after that.
